A Wine Fair super trade-oriented in Rome
There are three keywords: buyer, business and B2B. The style is positively international. Here is a short summary of the key features of Vinòforum Trade, the wine fair organised by Vinòforum and Fiera Roma to promote Italian wine abroad.
From 9th to 12th November, the capital’s exhibition centre will house this new fair format, shaped around the specific needs of the exhibitors: every winery will have a personalised programme of appointments with profiled buyers from all over the world. The added value of the event is the presence of hundreds of international buyers, selected according to where they come from and their distribution capacity. 39% of participants come from USA, confirming the US as the first client of Italian wine (imports in 2013 increased by 7%) and 29% from Canada (imports up 2% in 2013). 14% of buyers come from the Far East (a complex market, but with high growth rates: Singapore saw an increase of 11%). Lastly, 18% is made up of professionals from northern Europe, the first foreign market for many producers.
