Lunelli Estates: the new brand

Lunelli Estates: the new brand

Margon, Podernovo and Castelbuono: three wineries in three winegrowing areas – Trentino, Tuscany, Umbria – and a new line of wines. This is the fulfilment of the project of the Lunelli Estates, which, until now, has centred around the more famous brand, Ferrari. Today the wines of the “sister” wineries are “consistent with our goal: to form a group of excellence of Italian drinking,” explains Matteo Lunelli, managing director of the family group. He goes on, “we want to put alongside Ferrari Trentodoc, wineries with the same values that enable us to demonstrate the variety of the areas, which is the great richness of Italian wine. Respect for the area and attention to sustainability are values common to all our brands today.”

The protagonists of the official presentation in Rome

At the Circolo Canottieri Aniene (Aniene Rowing Club) in partnership with the group, were obviously the wines: Chardonnay Villa Margon, Pinot nero Maso Montalto and Pietragrande, a fruity blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon, from the Margon Estate; Teuto and Aliotto (100% Sangiovese and blended with Cabernet, Merlot and local grapes) from the Tuscan Podernovo Estate; concluding with Carapace, Lampante, Ziggurat (Montefalco Sagrantino, Montefalco Rosso Riserva and Montefalco Rosso respectively) and the new Montefalco Sagrantino Passito from the Castelbuono Estate. Nine wines, all having characteristics of elegance and longevity in common, as well as the same sustainable production philosophy. Also part of the group, alongside the Estates and the Ferrari winery, are the Segnana distillery, Surgiva mineral water and a historic Prosecco Superiore brand: Bisol.
