Vinitaly 2017: over 40 new wines to try

Vinitaly 2017: over 40 new wines to try

Vinitaly is always Vinitaly. After celebrating its 50th anniversary, this year the fair in Verona will be opening its doors from 9th to 12th April with some extended pavilions, the now established “Opera Wine” première event and the “Vinitaly and the City” programme of side events, which Veronafiere is investing a lot in.

What’s new on Vinitaly 2017

Individual formats aside, the fair remains the most important national showcase for our wineries, which are opting more and more often to use their stands to present new products. This article is aimed at the visitor going through the Cangrande entrance turnstiles, who wants to taste some wines at their first debut or that might have had a change in the grape blend, production formula or packaging. Or even ones that have obtained a special certification or a different designation.

Here is a guide, then, – albeit unavoidably partial, but still full of ideas – to the new entries in Verona. The overview goes in order of region, which corresponds to the division of the pavilions, except for those with a theme, such as Vinitalybio and ViViT-Vigne Vignaioli Terroir.
