VinoVip Cortina is the biannual summit of the Italian leading producers, conceived by Civiltà del bere, where the most prestigious Italian wine producers meet with wine professionals, lovers and collectors.

MASTERCLASS @ Grand Hotel Savoia
11 – 12.30 The force of the earth | At the heart of the debate, the effect of the soil on the aromatic and taste profile of wine. A comparison between the most important Italian zonings, where wine is strongly linked to soil composition. Introduced by Pedro Parra.
15 – 16.30 Communicating complexity | Italian wine is very varied and complex, just think of the number of DOCs and grape varieties we have. But are we communicating this adequately? Together with Charlie Arturaola, famous American wine educator, also internationally-known journalists and communication experts from the main Italian wine markets will be taking part, such as David Way, from the R&D office of WSET in London. Chaired by Pedro Ballesteros Torres MW.
17 – 18.30 Towards sensitive winemaking | We will be debating eco-sensitive themes affecting the wine sector. A balance will be found between the two extremes of “naturalistic” ideology and the excesses of chemicals and technology. We will be talking with international experts and Italian winemakers who have set up programmes for winery sustainability and organic or biodynamic conversion. With Riccardo Cotarella, president of Italian enologists and the scientific committee of the Wine Research Team, and Pierluigi Donna, agronomist from Sata Gruppo Agronomico, consultant for thirty years, committed to an eco-friendly approach to vine growing.
WINE TASTING @ Grand Hotel Savoia
12 – 17 Young Dreamers and Small Homelands | A tasting-cum-meeting with a selection of emerging producers, each following a particular intuition that led them to the vineyards. Alongside the young vignerons under the age of 40, we will discover some niche wineries, from minor DOCs yet to be rediscovered, presented by brave “champions” who have never stopped valorising them. from 19.30 A Night with the Stars | Spectacular BBQ together with the best wines taking part in VinoVip. During the evening you will be able to go inside the Helmut Ullrich Observatory (Col Drusciè Refuge), where expert astrophysicists will show you the beauty of Saturn through the telescope. Tickets
