Wine Events around the World in a fortnight

From New York to Hong Kong, the best Wine Events
Dear friends, the last fortnight has been very hectic. In New York I attended a very successful stage of the Simply Italian Tour, organized by IEM, enthusiastic colleagues among classic Italian wines and native varieties still to be discovered on an international level, such as Grignolino from Piedmont and Nosiola from Trentino. In Quebec, I visited the incredible SAQ shops, the monopoly that controls wine sales: Italy is much loved and well represented, also in the “Signature Store” where you can find designer labels.
Then I stopped off in Milan for a couple of days, just to attend the launch of the new guide by AIS (Association of Italian Sommeliers), that split with Franco Ricci’s Rome group last year (read more).
Lastly, I flew to Hong Kong to take part in the International Wine & Spirits Fair (read more).
